2018 Season

This summer, Island Shakespeare Festival presents Sense & Sensibility, adapted from Jane Austen’s novel by Jessica Swale and directed by Charlie Marie McGrath, Othello, directed by Terri McMahon, and Twelfth Night, directed by Kristin Clippard.  These three plays will run in rotating repertory from July 12 through September 2.  Click here to view our calendar to plan your visit.

As we look around us in our communities and world, it is clear that now is a necessary time for the arts, and in particular, theatre, to carry voices across boundaries and walls. The human experience we share unites us and, as theatre artists, we have the gift and responsibility to remind ourselves and each other of this important reality. With our 2018 season, we intend to do just that.

Through ISF (Aside), we will offer windows into production elements and context to further understand the season.  You will find links to posts relating to our 2018 season on this page.
