This summer, Island Shakespeare Festival presents As You Like It, directed by Susannah Rose Woods, Julius Caesar, directed by Corey D. McDaniel, and Jane Eyre, adapted and directed by Julie Beckman. These three plays will run in rotating repertory from July 8 through September 11. Click here to view our calendar to plan your visit.
All three plays delve into themes of power, love, exile, anarchy, refuge, social class, prophecy, appearances, manipulations, gender relations, honor and transformation. It’s truly a season of exploring the malleability of the human experience.
Through ISF (Aside), we will investigate some of these themes. You will find links to posts relating to our 2016 season on this page.
